NEW FOR NOVEMBER: Junior dinosaur hunters can dig for bones and skeletons at the new Paleontologist's Laboratory, a hands-on science activity created by Dino Digs of Hopewell Junction, New York. Every guest who visits the Laboratory will receive a collection of genuine fossils from the age of the dinosaurs to take home in a keepsake bag.


*Single day admission for adults and children for November 2014 dates is $15. No Explorer's Passes or Commander's Passes will be available in November. You may add the 3D movie at the box office for $5 or upgrade to Commander's Tent access for $12. Not valid on previously purchased tickets. Subject to availability. Collected on behalf of the Town of Secaucus to encourage the use of mass transit and support local parks and recreation.

Parking is available in a lot adjacent to our front entrance. Field Station: Dinosaurs collects a $10 Environmental Fee on behalf of the Town of Secaucus to encourage the use of mass transit and support local parks and recreation. The fee must be paid at the box office at time of purchase or prior to leaving the park. We accept Visa, MC, Amex, Discover, or cash.  (Note: Gift Cards cannot be used for this fee.)

If the lot is full, additional public parking is available at Edison ParkFast, three blocks away at New Jersey Transit's Secaucus Junction rail station. Rates vary; visit www.parkfast.com for more information.

There is no Field Station parking allowed in Laurel Hill Park. The park is monitored and vehicles illegally parked will be ticketed.

School buses park free.

Rain Days

Raise your umbrellas and put on your rain gear because there's still lots to do at Field Station: Dinosaurs even on the grayest days. Every great explorer knows that a little rain never hurt anyone. So if you've ever splashed in a puddle or made mud pies, rainy days are for you. We've got four tented pavilions where you can dry off while playing dinosaur games and learning from our always knowledgeable and entertaining Field Station staff. Families willing to brave the elements will receive free Field Station ponchos with their admission. So batten down the hatches and prepare to ride out the storm with torrents of laughter, a smattering of mystery and a cloud burst of fun at Field Station: Dinosaurs.

What is Field Station: Dinosaurs?
The Field Station is an outdoor exhibition with 32 life-size animatronic dinosaurs. We are a walking park with games, workshops and entertainment along the way. Guests will be given a trail map with a schedule of daily activities to plan their self-guided expedition.

What are the operating hours?

Is smoking permitted at Field Station: Dinosaurs?
No, Field Station: Dinosaurs is a smoke free park. This includes the use of e-cigarettes, which is also prohibited inside the park. There is a designated smoking area outside the front gates.

Is the park wheel chair and stroller accessible?
Yes. Follow the marked trails for our ADA accessible paths.

Are there wheelchairs and strollers available for rent on site?
Yes. We have wheelchairs and strollers for rent for a $3 fee.

Is parking available?

Yes, we offer parking on-site. We collect a $10 Environmental Fee for the Town of Secaucus to encourage the use of public transportation. Please pay your parking fee at the box office at time of purchase or before leaving the park. If our lot is full, parking is available at the Secaucus Junction train station nearby.

Is there food available?
Yes, hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream, Italian ices, snacks and beverages are available for purchase at the park on general admission days.

Can I bring in my own food?

Yes, you may bring food with you, although please leave big coolers in your vehicle. We just ask that you eat in our picnic table area.

Is there an ATM available?
We do not have an ATM on the Field Station premises.

Are there drinking fountains?
No, but water is for sale throughout the park.

What happens if I lose something at Field Station: Dinosaurs?
All lost and found items will be brought to the Box Office. If you have already left the Field Station, you can email info@fieldstationdinosaurs.com to check if an item was found

What happens if it rains?
Field Station: Dinosaurs remains open even if it rains. Patrons willing to brave the weather will be given a complimentary poncho upon admission into the park.


Is there a dress code for Field Station: Dinosaurs?
Shirts and shoes are required at all times. We recommend comfortable shoes, such as sneakers, for our gravel paths. A hat is a good idea for sunny days. We also recommend bug spray and sunscreen for hot summer days.

Do you offer season passes?
We do! You can purchase them online or at the box office. You can even upgrade your ticket at the end of the day to a season pass. A child or senior season pass is $52 and an adult season pass is $62.

Does Field Station: Dinosaurs sell gift certificates?
Yes. They are available at the box office, online or by calling 855.999.9010.

What forms of payment are accepted at Field Station: Dinosaurs?
We accept cash and all major forms of credit. We do not accept personal checks.

Do you allow dogs at Field Station: Dinosaurs?
Pets are not permitted at the park, with the exception of service animals.
