Autumn is Awesome at the Field Station!

 

Get lost in the new Raptor Trap, carve a T-Rex jack-o-lantern and cast your vote in a dinosaur election! It's all happening this Fall at the Field Station as we reopen for eight weeks of adventure, mystery and discovery.

Saturday's and Sunday's, September 24 - November 13
We'll be open from 10am-5pm with a new Raptor Trap maze, a walk through adventure where vicious velociraptors await unsuspecting prey.

Friday's and Saturday's, September 30 - October 29
Dinosaurs After Dark returns with two new shows - including " Dinosaurs Dino-Mite!" - a surprising look at dinosaur discoveries worldwide. Explore our trails by lantern light but beware - there's a hungry T-Rex on the loose in the woods! It's a spooky, fun-filled night of songs, shows, games and s'mores around the campfire.

NEW THIS YEAR! Dining with Dinos! Come early to Dinosaurs After Dark and enjoy a delicious Mac and Cheese buffet that's sure to please kids and parents alike The baby hadrosaurs will be on had to greet every guest at this special pre-show dinner.

Come in costume and get a treat! Then carve your own Dinosaur Jack-o-lantern!

Cast your vote! We're holding an election to pick the Field Station's new dinosaur.

Dinosaurs After Dark $24 Take a fun, mysterious journey into a shadowy, prehistoric world. Explore our lantern trails but WATCH OUT danger lurks at every turn and there's a TRex on the loose. Program begins at 8pm. Season Pass discounts available.

Rain Days

Raise your umbrellas and put on your rain gear because there's still lots to do at Field Station: Dinosaurs even on the grayest days. Every great explorer knows that a little rain never hurt anyone. So if you've ever splashed in a puddle or made mud pies, rainy days are for you. We've got four tented pavilions where you can dry off while playing dinosaur games and learning from our always knowledgeable and entertaining Field Station staff. Families willing to brave the elements will receive free Field Station ponchos with their admission. So batten down the hatches and prepare to ride out the storm with torrents of laughter, a smattering of mystery and a cloud burst of fun at Field Station: Dinosaurs.

What is Field Station: Dinosaurs?
The Field Station is an outdoor exhibition with 32 life-size animatronic dinosaurs. We are a walking park with games, workshops and entertainment along the way. Guests will be given a trail map with a schedule of daily activities to plan their self-guided expedition.

What is Field Station: Dinosaurs' park address?

Is smoking permitted at Field Station: Dinosaurs?
No, Field Station: Dinosaurs is a smoke-free park. This includes the use of e-cigarettes, which are also prohibited inside the park. There is a designated smoking area outside the front gates.

Is the park wheelchair and stroller accessible?
Yes. Follow the marked trails for our ADA accessible paths.

Are there wheelchairs and strollers available for rent on site?
Yes. We have wheelchairs for a $5 rental fee and hiking strollers for a $5 rental fee.


Is parking available?
Yes, we offer free parking on-site.

Is there food available?
Yes, hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, wraps, snacks and beverages are available for purchase at the park on general admission days. Concessions close one hour prior to park closing.

Can I bring in my own food?

Yes, you may bring food with you, although please leave big coolers in your vehicle. We just ask that you eat in our picnic table area and place trash in the proper receptacles.

Is there an ATM available?
Yes, there is an ATM inside our gift shop.

Are there drinking fountains?
No, but water is available for sale at the park.

What happens if I lose something at Field Station: Dinosaurs?
All lost and found items will be brought to the Box Office. If you have already left the Field Station, you may email info@fieldstationdinosaurs.com to check if an item was found.

What happens if it rains?
Field Station: Dinosaurs remains open even if it rains. Visitors who brave the weather will be given a complimentary poncho in the park.


Is there a dress code for Field Station: Dinosaurs?
Shirts and shoes are required. We recommend comfortable shoes, such as sneakers, for our paths. A hat is a good idea for sunny days. We also recommend bug spray and sunscreen for hot summer days.

Do you offer season passes?
We do! You can purchase them online or at the box office. You can even upgrade your ticket at the end of the day to a season pass. All season passes are $60.

Is there a discount for group tickets?
Yes, please email groups@fieldstationdinosaurs.com or call 973.748.4317 for more information. A group consists of 20 or more tickets.

Does Field Station: Dinosaurs sell gift certificates?
Yes. They are available at the box office, online or by calling 855.999.9010.

What forms of payment are accepted at Field Station: Dinosaurs?
We accept cash and all major forms of credit. We do not accept personal checks.

Do you allow dogs at Field Station: Dinosaurs?
Pets are not permitted in the park, with the exception of service animals.

 


 


PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in hosting a birthday party at Field Station: Dinosaurs, you must book through our Group Sales department. Outside birthday parties are not permitted, and you will be stopped at Credential Checkpoint and be asked to put any birthday items back in your vehicle.
